Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This page explains what AgentNow stores in your browser (cookies and similar browser storage) and why.
1. Needed to make the Service work
These are not used for advertising. They are kept in your browser's local storage or session storage.
- Sign-in: keeps you signed in to the dashboard (your session) until you sign out.
- Portal visitor: remembers the name, email and visitor ID you used to join a portal, the agent you chose and the chat you had open, so your history is there when you return. Removed when you log out of the portal.
- Settings: your light or dark theme and accent colour; whether you hid the chat icon on a website (for 7 days); that you have already seen the QR code card in the chat window.
- Chat window: a short copy of the widget settings and the chat window's colours while it is open, so pages inside it look the same.
- Security: our network provider Cloudflare may set a cookie to protect forms and the site against bots and abuse.
2. Analytics
- Our website and app (Google Analytics): sets cookies (such as
_ga) to count visits and see how pages are used. This covers our website, the dashboard, the chat portal and the chat window. It is used without advertising features. You can delete or block these cookies in your browser at any time. - The chat widget: when the widget runs on a Customer's website, its chat window is one of our pages, so the same analytics cookies can be set in the chat window.
3. Payments
When you pay, Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout page to prevent fraud and process the payment. See Stripe's own policy.
4. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the ones needed for the Service, parts of it (for example staying signed in) will not work. To change an analytics choice, delete or block the cookies in your browser settings.
